Lead retail production priorities at Giant Tiger using supplier management and product development expertise in a hybrid Ottawa schedule. Shape assortments across six categories. The Production Manager translates merchant vision into execution across Bedding, Bath, Beauty, Footwear, Accessories and Handbags. This position oversees development, sourcing, quality, cost, delivery and commercialization. You will partner with Merchandising and Design teams while managing suppliers, risks and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate merchant vision into priorities and resource allocation
- Oversee product development and production execution across assigned categories
- Manage supplier selection, negotiations, capability, quality and delivery
- Mitigate production, sourcing and commercialization risks
- Optimize processes for speed, quality, performance and cost efficiency
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, retail management or related field
- Five to seven years’ progressive retail product experience
- Experience delivering assortments from concept through production and delivery
- Knowledge of sourcing, manufacturing, quality and critical path processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PLM systems
- Bring retail production, supplier negotiation and cross-functional leadership expertise to Giant Tiger’s Ottawa-based assortment execution team.
