GHD seeks an experienced Nuclear Project Director for complex nuclear and energy capital projects across Canada and North America. This senior client-facing leader will oversee portfolios, governance, risk management, and major project execution. The work spans proposal, planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness. Key Responsibilities:
Direct complex nuclear and energy projects from concept through closeout Lead capital planning, prioritization, governance, and execution readiness Build client relationships with operators, government, and community partners Guide multidisciplinary teams across engineering, construction, and operations readiness Drive safety, commercial controls, risk, and issue resolution Requirements:
15-18 years in nuclear, energy, or related sectors Engineering degree or related technical qualification preferred Professional licensure or eligibility preferred, including P.Eng. and PMP Major capital project experience valued in hundreds of millions Nuclear business development experience in a market-facing role required Bring nuclear leadership, capital project execution, governance, and client engagement expertise to GHD's Ontario Energy business.
