As a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist, you will perform multidisciplinary diagnostic imaging skills under general supervision. Your work includes operating MRI equipment, applying safety standards, and tailoring care appropriately. The position supports detection, evaluation, and eventual treatment of disease through imaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate magnetic resonance imaging scanners
- Create three dimensional images of patient body tissues
- Apply MRI safety knowledge as a departmental resource
- Provide safe, appropriate, timely, tailored patient care
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals across disciplines
Requirements:
- Current Ontario MRI registration
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging Diploma
- Minimum two years' technical MRI experience
- Knowledge of Ontario MRI practice standards
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
