This Laboratory Technician provides technical assistance through site visits, sampling, and waste classification support. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine sample preparation and analyses using ICP and GC
- Assist customers with sampling and waste material classification
- Review reports and confirm outgoing materials meet disposal parameters
- Assemble and disassemble lab packs and prepare glassware
- Maintain analysis, maintenance, and production records
Requirements:
- Environmental or Chemical Engineering Technician or Technologist diploma
- Previous laboratory, sales, or industry experience is an asset
- Competent computer skills with Microsoft Windows and Office
- Safety conscious, detail oriented, and able to follow procedures
- Willingness to work overtime and continental shift work
