GFL is looking for a dedicated Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic with at least one year of experience. You will diagnose and repair operational issues, maintain various types of heavy equipment, and complete necessary administrative tasks. This role requires you to follow safety regulations while using hand and power tools effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose operational difficulties of diesel trucks
- Maintain and repair diesel, CNG, and electric vehicles
- Complete daily reports and order necessary parts
- Plan and schedule repairs using M5 planner
- Assist in training new employees
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum one year of diesel mechanic experience
- Experience with diagnostic software is a plus
- Must be computer literate and willing to learn
- Meet safety criteria set by the Company
