Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technicians maintain diesel, CNG, gas, and electric trucks in Cranbrook, BC. GFL Environmental offers this on-site fleet position.
This mechanic role requires at least one year of Red Seal Heavy Duty experience. You will repair and maintain trucks and associated heavy-duty equipment using power tools, hand instruments, and specialized equipment. Accurate reporting and independent work are central to daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair diesel, CNG, gas, and electric trucks
- Rebuild motorized equipment and associated heavy-duty equipment
- Complete daily reports and work orders accurately
- Order parts and schedule repairs in M5 planner
- Review mechanical write-ups and coordinate repair schedules
Requirements:
- Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic experience of one year or more
- High school diploma or GED
- Technical diploma desired
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records
- Ability to push, pull, bend, lift, kneel, crawl, and climb
