Lead enterprise data strategy and architecture at General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada, shaping governance, integration, analytics, and artificial intelligence readiness. Reporting to the Chief Digital and Information Officer, this director establishes and matures the organization’s enterprise data capability. You will develop roadmaps, govern architecture, and lead Data Engineering while partnering across business and technology functions. The mandate supports operational excellence, reporting, automation, and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop enterprise data strategy, roadmap, operating model, and target architecture
- Establish governance, integration, engineering, and information management capabilities
- Define enterprise data and integration architecture standards
- Lead Data Engineering mentorship, direction, and delivery planning
- Reduce fragmentation, technical debt, and point-to-point integrations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline
- 10+ years in enterprise data or integration architecture
- Experience developing strategies, governance frameworks, standards, and roadmaps
- Experience leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders
- Understanding of cloud, security, analytics, and AI/ML principles
- Direct enterprise data architecture, governance, and engineering capabilities supporting General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada’s digital transformation priorities.
