Microsoft Azure expertise leads cloud-first solutions engineering at General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada, with some AWS and secure enterprise architecture direction. This management role advances scalable technology solutions for Canadian operations. As a recognized Solutions Engineering expert and advisor, you will guide design, implementation, automation, documentation, and support. You will translate functional requirements into reusable patterns, HLDs, LLDs, decision records, roadmaps, and production-ready services. Collaboration spans business, engineering, data, security, storage, and architecture teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build end-to-end Azure and AWS cloud solutions
- Translate business needs into secure, scalable technical architectures
- Develop HLDs, LLDs, patterns, options papers, and roadmaps
- Guide APIs, data pipelines, event-driven architectures, and identity integration
- Apply Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, and Bicep automation standards
Requirements:
- Expert Azure and AWS enterprise cloud architecture experience
- Advanced Microsoft Copilot Studio, Foundry, APIM, and Graph expertise
- Deep Terraform and CloudFormation expertise with CI/CD pipelines
- Expert cloud security, compliance, governance, and data residency knowledge
- Eligibility to work in Canada and obtain security clearance
- Lead secure Azure solutions, automation, integration, and governance as a cloud architecture advisor for Canadian operations.
