Lead garden supplies operations at GARDENWORKS with inventory management and guest service expertise. This full-time position requires hands-on retail leadership.
As Department Manager for Garden Supplies, you will oversee Garden Supplies and Pottery operations. The work includes receiving, pricing, merchandising, and replenishment. You will use POS systems, analyze sales data, and communicate needs to Purchasing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily Garden Supplies and Pottery department operations
- Lead receiving, pricing, preparation, and merchandising processes
- Keep displays fully stocked and presentation ready
- Use POS systems for inventory and sales reporting
- Monitor inventory movement and communicate replenishment opportunities
Requirements:
- Minimum three years of retail experience
- Garden supplies, hardware, or home improvement experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organization, detail, and data analysis abilities
- Forklift and Pesticide Dispensing certification or training willingness
