As Department Manager, you will oversee daily Garden Supplies operations at British Columbia's largest locally owned garden centre company. Your work combines product flow, merchandising, inventory accuracy, POS systems, and sales analysis. You will support well-presented displays and efficient replenishment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily Garden Supplies department operations
- Lead receiving, pricing, preparation, and merchandising processes
- Keep tables, fixtures, and displays fully stocked
- Use POS systems for inventory, purchase orders, and reports
- Monitor inventory movement and communicate replenishment needs
Requirements:
- Minimum three years of retail experience
- Garden supplies, hardware, or home improvement experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organization, detail, and data analysis abilities
- Forklift and Pesticide Dispensing certification or paid training willingness
