  • Inspections, Testing & Commissioning Support: Coordinate and witness mechanical inspections, equipment testing, pressure testing, flushing, cleaning, balancing, startup, and commissioning activities. Ensure all mechanical systems achieve required quality standards prior to pre-functional testing, functional performance testing, and integrated systems testing. Review turnover packages, test reports, commissioning documentation, and quality records for completeness and accuracy. Support commissioning teams to ensure seamless transition from construction to operational readiness. Verify punch list, deficiency, and closeout activities are completed in accordance with client expectations.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate closely with Construction Managers, Mechanical Contractors, Design Consultants, Commissioning Teams, and Client Representatives. Participate in quality meetings, site walks, inspections, audits, and project reviews. Provide technical quality guidance to project teams and contractors. Act as the key mechanical quality representative for client and project leadership discussions. Promote a culture focused on quality, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Compliance & Non-Conformance Management: Ensure compliance with project specifications, client standards, local regulations, industry codes, and manufacturer requirements. Manage Mechanical Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and preventive action plans. Lead investigations into quality issues and support root-cause analysis efforts. Review RFIs, technical submittals, shop drawings, equipment documentation, and inspection records from a quality perspective. Support client audits, third-party inspections, and regulatory reviews as required.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare weekly and monthly mechanical quality reports, dashboards, and KPI metrics. Maintain inspection logs, testing records, NCR registers, deficiency trackers, and quality documentation. Provide executive-level reporting on mechanical quality performance, risks, trends, and corrective actions. Ensure accurate management and retention of project quality records throughout the project lifecycle. Support final handover by validating quality documentation, test certificates, commissioning reports, and closeout packages. Work collaboratively with Construction, Project Management, Design, BIM, Project Controls, Health & Safety, and Commissioning teams. Ensure mechanical quality requirements are integrated into planning, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover activities. Support constructability reviews and quality-focused project planning initiatives. Mentor project teams and contractors on quality standards, best practices, and lessons learned. Promote a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to quality management across the project.
