Direct mining project engineering across processing, infrastructure, procurement, and construction interfaces from G Mining Services’ Brossard office or remotely. This Director of Engineering position supports major mining developments from studies through construction, commissioning, and operational support. G Mining Services requires broad engineering knowledge, strong project planning, and experience guiding technical teams. The role connects clients, partners, consultants, authorities, suppliers, and internal disciplines throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate technical interfaces across major mining project disciplines Integrate production requirements into facility design and infrastructure Review drawings, mass balances, drainage, and transportation plans Lead technical reviews, HAZOP analyses, and optimization meetings Develop CAPEX estimates and oversee engineering quality processes Requirements:
Engineering bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline Fifteen or more years of relevant experience Construction management and mining operations experience preferred Proven multidisciplinary team leadership and budget management skills Microsoft Office proficiency; PMP certification is an asset Use broad mining engineering knowledge, technical reviews, CAPEX expertise, and team leadership to direct complex project delivery.
