Lead major mining engineering projects with technical expertise, multidisciplinary coordination, and project planning from Brossard or remotely. Travel occasionally as required. G Mining Services seeks a Director of Engineering for major projects, reporting to the Senior Engineer Director. You will manage studies and engineering for mining developments leading to surface infrastructure construction. The work spans strategic planning, facility design, procurement, permits, quality, and client communication across international projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead studies and engineering for major mining development projects
- Coordinate engineering, construction, operations, procurement, quality, and environmental interfaces
- Oversee multidisciplinary engineering for processing and mining infrastructure
- Manage scope, budget, schedule, technical solutions, and constraints
- Present technical reports and monitor project performance indicators
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
- At least 15 years of relevant experience
- Experience managing major, international, Greenfield, or Brownfield mining projects
- OIQ membership or Canadian engineering licence required
- Fluency in English and French, written and spoken
- Bring mining engineering leadership, multidisciplinary management, budget control, and client communication to G Mining Services’ major projects.
