Lead complex industrial equipment projects in Mississauga using technical expertise, budget control, and installation management skills. Travel across Ontario as required. This Senior Project Manager position oversees industrial equipment and commercial installation projects from planning through handover. You will manage schedules, procurement, subcontractors, engineering coordination, commissioning, and customer communication. The work spans loading dock systems, material handling solutions, warehouse infrastructure, and related installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects from scope definition through closeout and handover
- Develop schedules, budgets, resources, procurement, and risk plans
- Coordinate equipment deliveries, installation schedules, and field operations
- Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and installation crews
- Monitor progress, risks, performance indicators, and customer updates
Requirements:
- Seven to ten years of progressive project management experience
- Technical background in mechanical, electrical, engineering, construction, or automation
- Experience managing budgets, forecasts, cost controls, and profitability
- Ability to interpret drawings, blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation
- Microsoft Office and project management software proficiency
