Job Description 310T Mechanic / Fleet Mechanic Location: Stouffville, Ontario Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Schedule: Day Shift Compensation: Competitive hourly rate ($48 - $52) overtime potential About the Opportunity A well-established employer in the infrastructure / utility services sector is looking for a 310T Mechanic / Fleet Mechanic to join their maintenance team. This is a great opportunity for a mechanically inclined professional who enjoys working on heavy-duty trucks, fleet vehicles, and equipment in a hands-on shop environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong diagnostic ability, a safety-first mindset, and experience maintaining commercial vehicles and related systems.
What You'll Be Doing:
310T Mechanic / Fleet Mechanic Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, fleet vehicles, and equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues Complete preventative maintenance and inspections Review repair priorities and complete assigned work orders Maintain accurate service and repair records Assist with identifying and resolving equipment issues efficiently Perform road tests or vehicle movement as required Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Follow all company safety policies and shop procedures What We're Looking For 310T Truck and Coach Technician Licence preferred OR registered apprentice with relevant hands-on experience & minimum 3 years of experience working on: Heavy-duty trucks Commercial fleet vehicles Heavy equipment Related diesel-powered equipment Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills Experience with hydraulic and/or electrical systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid Ontario driver's licence Must be able to provide a driver abstract Must have own tools Strong communication and problem-solving skills Nice to Have Experience with diesel engines Welding or fabrication experience Experience servicing trailers or specialized equipment Exposure to utility, construction, or contractor fleet environments Why Apply Full-time, stable employment Opportunity to work with a diverse fleet and equipment mix Strong team environment Competitive compensation Overtime potential Long-term career opportunity with a growing operation How to Apply Please submit your resume outlining your relevant mechanical experience, certifications, and the types of vehicles or equipment you've worked on.
