We are seeking an Associate Lawyer to join our Vancouver office. The successful candidate will demonstrate a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills, along with a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional client service through thoughtful, strategic, and effective legal solutions. You will thrive in a dynamic and collaborative work environment, where you will manage your own files while also supporting senior counsel on complex matters.
The role includes a diverse range of work, such as:
- Mortgage enforcement and foreclosure proceedings
- Personal property security realization
- Bankruptcy and receivership matters
- Negotiation of resolutions and settlements
What We Are Looking For:
- 4 to 7 years of litigation experience; experience in insolvency and realization matters is strongly preferred
- Strong oral advocacy and written communication
- A personable, professional, and respectful team player
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Sound analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
