Fulcrum Engineering & Technical are acting as an Employment Business on behalf of our Clients. We are recruiting personnel at all levels and covering similar roles, including Electricians Skilled & Improvers & Semi Skilled/Mates with IPAF.
Responsibilities include:
- Working Install & Maintenance Work.
- Installing electrical cable tray, racking, and cables.
- Using Mobile Platforms to work at height.
- Working on the safe removal of electrical systems and larger items such as Conveyor Lines, Process Machinery, Palletiser Machines, Robot, Motor & Pump Units.
- Moving from workplace areas to lay down areas.
- Assisting with completing checks and reinstatement fitting work.
Also, semi-skilled applicants can apply if they can cover most of the work depending on their skill set. Working mainly in the Fab Shop, some workers may be asked to help out when really busy on installation work on factories/process plants.
Hours: 0700 to 1730 or to 1900, 48 to 55+ hours Mon to Fri as required. Also might work 0600 or 0700 to 1330 Sat as required.
Term: Temp Contract 4 to 8 weeks & Contract Temp.
Pay for Temp Contract:
- Electrician Skilled = £27 per Hr Mon to Fri, £34 per Hr Sat.
- Improver/Skilled = £21+ per hr up to 60 hrs, £26+ per hr Sat depending on Skills/Quals.
- Fork Ops = £19 to £22 per hr.
- Semi Skilled Mates = £17 to £20+ hr & £21 to £24 per hr Sat.
Qualifications:
- C & G or NVQ Electrical Engineering with 17th Ed or 18th Ed ideally 2391 Testing.
- Skills/Experience: Work on Process & Packaging Machinery & Conveyors, ideally Generators & Turbines, and also fitting mechanical systems.
- ECS - CSCS Card, IPAF - MEWP Card ideally.
- Manual Handling, Working at Heights Certs, CCNSG or EMSS Safety Passport.
