The Produce Manager oversees department staff, store operations, customer offerings, and financial performance. This position requires product knowledge, inventory control, sales forecasting, and labour cost management. You will maintain company standards while supporting training, food safety, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach, motivate, and develop produce department employees
- Manage budgets, labour costs, inventory, and product presentation
- Order, receive, rotate, merchandise, and present produce
- Provide superior customer service and support customer loyalty
- Maintain food safety, health, and regulatory procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum 18 months of retail store experience
- Produce experience preferred
- High School Diploma
- Experience analyzing financial reports and managing budgets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
