General Practitioner/Family Physician with Interest in Mental Health & Substance Use. Both the Oceanside and Arbutus Tertiary Geriatric Psychiatry teams are looking for a part-time General Practitioner/Family Physician.
Responsibilities:
- Medical responsibility for patients under your care at both sites, proactively dealing with medical issues and liaising with specialists as needed.
- Available for medical assessment for new admissions.
- Available to contribute in complex family situations.
- Flexibility to help out with new admissions/MHAct forms when needed.
- Participation in the on-call Rota covering both sides.
- Providing cross-coverage to other GP colleagues.
Compensation: Alternative Payment Plan, Sessional
