Key Responsibilities:
- Assess client nutrition, medical history, laboratory results, and lifestyle factors
- Develop and implement short and long-term nutritional care goals
- Monitor responses and adjust diabetes management recommendations
- Provide nutrition, lifestyle, and self-care counselling
- Document care plans and recommendations in medical records
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition
- Accredited Dietetic internship through Dietitians of Canada
- Current British Columbia professional registration
- Eligibility for Dietitians of Canada membership
- Eligibility for Certified Diabetes Educator certification
