Fraser Health Authority seeks a Cardiovascular Technologist for procedural support at Royal Columbian Hospital. The work includes patient preparation, information gathering, Meditech documentation, and ECG and hemodynamic analysis. You will also maintain equipment and cardiac registry records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients with electrodes and shave preparation when necessary
- Gather histories and enter orders using Meditech
- Monitor ECG and hemodynamics during procedures
- Analyze data and prepare hemodynamic reports
- Maintain and troubleshoot physiological monitoring equipment
Requirements:
- Diploma in Cardiovascular Technology
- Two years of recent related experience
- Eligible for CACPT and/or CCI RCIS registration
- Ability to operate related equipment
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities
