This Clinical Nurse Specialist supports cardiac patients in Fraser Health inpatient surgical settings. The role provides clinical leadership, expert consultation, education, research, and quality improvement. You will guide interdisciplinary teams, advance nursing practice, and support clinical nurse educators and clinical resource nurses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert consultation for cardiac clients and nursing teams
- Develop, implement, and evaluate specialty practice standards
- Guide clinical nurse educators on educational priorities
- Support evidence-based innovations and quality improvement
- Conduct research and disseminate findings through presentations
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing or applicable graduate degree
- Five years' recent related nursing experience
- Three years' recent specialty clinical experience
- Current Registered Nurse registration with BCCNM
- Staff nurse practice qualifications in the specialty area
