CCFP and other certifications like ACLS, ATLS, and PALS are vital for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency care to patients in a diverse community
- Collaborate with medical staff to assess patient needs
- Manage emergency cases and coordinate treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and standards
- Participate in community health initiatives and outreach
Requirements:
- CCFP certification (EM Trained preferred)
- ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications
- CPSBC eligibility for a full license
- FRCPC certification or eligibility
- ER experience in a hospital setting
