Fraser Health seeks a Cardiac Rhythm Devices Technologist to perform pacemaker services under Manager or Supervisor direction. The work includes ECG, stress testing, Holter monitoring, and pacemaker programming. You will interpret data, prepare reports, troubleshoot abnormalities, and support implant procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and program pacemakers to optimal settings
- Assist surgeons during operating room implant procedures
- Perform ECG, stress, Holter, and pacemaker testing
- Monitor pacemaker functions and report abnormalities
- Train staff and residents in programming applications
Requirements:
- Cardiology Technology diploma from a recognized program
- Successful completion of a recognized pacemaker specialty exam
- Two years of recent related experience
- Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists certification
- Effective communication and independent workload organization skills
