The Manager of Clinical Informatics reports to the Director of Care and oversees information technology and compliance related to resident care. Responsibilities include staff education, software training, data integrity, quality outcomes, and the Nursing Restorative program. The successful candidate must be an RN/RPN or registered health professional meeting Ontario registration requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate interRAI LTCF education, training, and certification
- Develop data quality and timely assessment processes
- Coordinate CIHI submissions and analyze quality reports
- Lead Continuous Quality Improvement planning and initiatives
- Direct Nursing Restorative program coaching and orientation
Requirements:
- Registered health professional with qualifying Canadian registration
- InterRAI LTCF AIS certification or completion within two weeks
- Minimum two years' long-term care experience
- Strong communication, computer, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
- Minimum two years' supervisory experience desired
