Johnson Electric seeks a Millwright-Machine Builder for fitting, assembly, and machine commissioning. You will read engineering drawings, build fixtures, integrate pneumatic and hydraulic circuits, and support equipment debugging. The position includes straight days, overtime, emergency call-ins, and shutdown support as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fit and assemble parts and sub-assemblies to print
- Build fixtures through bench and floor assembly
- Plumb pneumatic and hydraulic circuits into machinery
- Support debug, integration, testing, and machine acceptance
- Document inspections and verify manufactured parts meet specifications
Requirements:
- Five years' automation, machine assembly, or millwright experience
- Ability to read blueprints and complex engineering drawings
- Hydraulic and pneumatic schematic interpretation skills
- Precision instrument experience using imperial and metric measurements
- Mechanical assembly skills and strong mechanical aptitude
