At Fostet Manufacturing, this position plays a key role in producing precision-machined components with complex geometries and tight tolerances, ensuring quality, reliability, and on-time delivery for customers.

Set up and operate CNC vertical machining centers to produce precision metal components
Select tooling, fixtures, and workholding for efficient and repeatable production
Load, run, and edit CNC programs at the machine as needed
Establish offsets and verify setups prior to production runs
Perform first-article and in-process inspections to ensure conformance
Monitor machining operations and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
Maintain accurate setup sheets, production records, and quality documentation
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to reduce downtime and improve processes

5+ years of CNC milling experience in a production environment
~ Solid understanding of machining principles and tooling
~ Strong attention to detail and quality mindset
~ Familiarity with Haas, Fanuc, Mazak, or similar controls
Experience editing G-code at the machine
Experience with prototype through high-volume production
