The predicted salary is between 90000 - 115000 $ per year.
This role requires regular travel throughout British Columbia - with the majority of time spent in the Greater Vancouver and Fraser Valley area.
This position will be accountable for managing, developing and expanding the partnerships with our current commercial brokerage partners. Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help us expand our distribution in BC. Develop and achieve specific company objectives and goals. Continually improve on a thorough understanding of the insurance market and stay up to date on industry trends and competitive intelligence. This position will report to Managing Director, and work closely with other team members. Promote and model our culture, values and brand promise – must love fuchsia! Other duties as required.
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in the Commercial Lines Insurance Industry.
- Good organizational and planning skills, including great time management.
- Confident in conducting round table meetings with effective presentation skills.
- Focused and goal-oriented.
- Strong professional communication, both written and verbal.
- Strong computer skills including high proficiency with MS office.
Education & Experience
- Preference given to applicants with Insurance Industry experience and/or education (CAIB, CIP or other relevant designations).
Salary Range: CAD $90,000-$115,000. Actual pay may be below or above range based on candidates' knowledge, skills, and level of ability relative to expectations for the role applied to. Candidates with salary expectations outside of the range are encouraged to apply.
