We are seeking an experienced Regional HR Director / Operations to lead regional human resources and operational functions. You will provide strategic HR leadership, oversee workforce planning, manage compliance, and drive operational performance to support business growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional HR strategies aligned with business objectives to enhance workforce effectiveness.
- Oversee recruitment, manpower planning, employee development, and retention to build a high-performing workforce.
- Manage HR policies, procedures, and employee relations across multiple locations to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Lead and supervise HR and operations teams to achieve departmental goals and operational excellence.
- Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities to improve business processes and efficiency.
- Develop workforce budgets, manpower plans, and HR-related forecasts to support strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies to mitigate risks.
- Establish performance management and staff development programs to enhance employee capabilities.
- Collaborate with senior management on organizational planning and business operations to align HR initiatives with company goals.
- Monitor HR and operational KPIs and prepare regular management reports to inform decision-making.
- Support regional expansion, restructuring, and workforce-related projects to facilitate business growth.
- Execute other strategic HR and operational duties as assigned by management.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant HR and/or operations management experience, with regional or multi-site experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, and manpower planning.
- Proven experience in managing and developing teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Experience working across multiple countries or markets is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel when required.
