This Presales Security Expert works with Fortinet sales representatives on technical strategies, offerings, customer proof of concepts, sales calls, and post-sales matters. The position develops partner solutions, presents Fortinet technologies, and manages technical deal activities through closure. Strong communication and problem-solving skills support stakeholders across partner and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop joint strategies with sales representatives, partners, and Fortinet
- Understand partner requirements and build competitive technical solutions
- Serve as primary technical contact for assigned partners
- Develop go-to-market offerings with cross-functional teams
- Maintain customer and prospect technical information in Salesforce
Requirements:
- Presales engineering experience managing technical deal closure
- Strong knowledge of encryption, authentication, and network security
- Understanding of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, certificates, and IPSEC
- Demonstrated problem-solving and customer relationship skills
- College, bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
