Are you an experienced Automotive Service Technician? We're looking for someone who knows their trade and takes pride in doing the job right.
Grand Toyota is looking for a skilled and dependable Journeyman Automotive Service Technician to join our Service Department in Grand Falls-Windsor.
We're looking for strong diagnostic and repair skills, and a natural ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
What You'll Be Doing
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.
- Perform mechanical and electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Complete scheduled maintenance and inspections.
- Identify additional repair requirements and communicate findings clearly to service advisors and service manager.
- Use diagnostic equipment, technical resources, and manufacturer information to complete repairs accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
- Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Participate in ongoing technical training to stay current with evolving vehicle technologies.
- Provide guidance and support to Apprentice Technicians and other junior members of the service team.
- Perform other related duties as required.

- Journeyman certification as an Automotive Service Technician.
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and mechanical repair skills.

- Experience working with modern automotive systems and diagnostic equipment.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's licence and acceptable driving record.
