Lead maintenance planning at Canfor’s Elko sawmill in British Columbia, using mechanical problem-solving and people leadership to support operations. As Maintenance Planner Supervisor, you will execute maintenance programs while balancing production, maintenance, team needs, and safety. The role requires substantial experience planning and scheduling maintenance across multiple trade functions. You will coordinate planned crew work, support performance targets, and maintain preventative maintenance standards at a technically complex sawmill. Key Responsibilities:
Plan daily and weekly preventative maintenance work Develop and implement project work lists Coordinate crew work supporting maintenance and production targets Provide direction and support to reports Ensure Canfor Operating System requirements are followed Requirements:
Substantial experience scheduling multiple maintenance trade functions Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills Strong organizational skills in changing business conditions Electronic maintenance program knowledge considered an asset Interprovincial Trade Qualification considered an asset Bring maintenance scheduling, team leadership, and mechanical problem-solving expertise to Canfor’s Elko sawmill operations in British Columbia.
