Build battery-management firmware for Foreseeson Technology's high-voltage ESS, using C/C++ and communication protocols across connected devices.
As an Embedded Systems Engineer, you will develop software for battery status acquisition, charge and discharge sequencing, and system-state management. You will integrate battery controllers, power electronics, and control devices while addressing safety requirements. The project combines battery management, power conversion, embedded control, and monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop battery status acquisition and charge sequencing firmware
- Control contactor, pre-charge, fault, and operating-state interfaces
- Integrate existing battery controllers through documented protocols
- Diagnose timing, bus, signal, and interoperability problems
- Support protection interlocks, controlled shutdown, and emergency-stop interfaces
Requirements:
- At least three years of embedded firmware development experience
- Strong embedded C/C++ and/or Python programming skills
- Practical CAN, RS-485, UART, I2C, and SPI experience
- Experience with firmware debugging tools and development environments
- Knowledge of Linux-based systems and real-time operating systems
Use battery communication, fault handling, and embedded debugging skills to coordinate Foreseeson's high-voltage ESS controls.
