Forbes Bros. Group of Companies seeks an experienced Distribution Civil Foreman for full-time, temporary work. You will guide construction workers, apprentices, laborers, and equipment operators while coordinating excavation, concrete, underground infrastructure, and restoration activities. The work requires interpreting drawings, managing resources, and maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise excavation, trenching, foundations, concrete, duct banks, and restoration
- Coordinate daily crews, materials, tools, equipment, and work sequences
- Interpret drawings, specifications, work orders, and contract documents
- Lead safe work practices and conduct quality control inspections
- Communicate progress, delays, and project concerns to management
Requirements:
- Minimum four years of civil construction experience
- Previous construction crew leadership or supervision experience
- Distribution civil construction experience, including underground infrastructure
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and plan work sequences
- Valid driver's license and required site certifications
