Support construction health and safety at Flynn Group of Companies using Spanish bilingual skills, OSHA 30, and incident investigation expertise. This position is office based.
As a Health & Safety Specialist, you will coordinate safety measures across work processes and support project managers and site supervisors. Responsibilities include regulatory compliance, training, audits, inspections, corrective actions, insurance claims, and reporting to upper management. Some job site visits are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate safety measures with project managers and site supervisors
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Identify hazards and implement corrective actions
- Manage insurance claims and incident reporting
- Attend pre-work and preparatory meetings
Requirements:
- At least five years of construction safety experience
- OSHA 30 certification
- CHST or STSC preferred
- High School diploma and First Aid and CPR certification
- Spanish bilingual ability, driving credentials, transportation, and background check
