Our Edmonton Industrial team is currently searching for a General Superintendent, a skilled role responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the daily activities of multiple industrial cladding crews. The General Superintendent will ensure cladding and architectural systems are built with the highest degree of quality, in the safest and most cost-effective manner. This position works closely with management to ensure that all necessary work gets done as safely and efficiently as possible.
A Day In The Life:
- Process field hours/ Payroll
- Assist Construction Manager with project start-up list
- Monitor employees' training and certification validation
- Drive crew performance and efficiency
- Maintain QC project paperwork throughout the project life cycle
- Ensure QC, safety, and labour tracking paperwork is being completed by Foreman
- Review drawing/details
- Monitor tool and equipment inventory
- Orchestrate shipment of tools and equipment
- Attend on-site handovers/deficiency walks and testing
- Pick up/deliver smaller items as required
