Fluor seeks a Senior Piping Designer skilled in SmartPlant 3D, MicroStation, and complex piping layout for advanced project work. This senior design position prepares detailed piping deliverables under review while supporting Fluor’s global engineering services. You will create 2D CAD drawings, perform 3D layouts, review multidisciplinary documentation, and may serve as Design Area Lead. The work includes piping plans, plot plans, isometrics, sketches, and technical coordination. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare moderate to advanced 2D CAD drawings Produce and check complex piping drawings Perform 3D layouts for advanced scope Review vendor documentation and resolve discrepancies Assist construction and pipe fabrication personnel Requirements:
Two-year technical degree or equivalent related experience Ten years combining education and directly related experience Experience using MicroStation and SmartPlant 3D Knowledge of piping design requirements and industry standards Practical field experience and effective communication skills Apply piping design, SmartPlant 3D, MicroStation, and technical review expertise to Fluor’s complex engineering projects.
