Senior Solutions Designer in Toronto

Interview will be in-person - if the consultant cannot come onsite - they will be declined. There will be an assignment/presentation for interview.

Must Have:

• Oracle EPM Cloud solutions and design knowledge and experience.
• Experience with FCCS (Financial Consolidation and Close Service) is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Applications expertise to assist in the analysis, solution and design of migrating existing HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) consolidation application.
• Experience implementing and providing support for the migration of large financial applications.
• Knowledge and experience using financial planning, management accounting, and reporting applications such as forecasting, consolidations and public accounts.

Nice to have:

• Prior OPS or public sector experience.

Experience and Skill Set Requirements:

• Financial and Technical Solution Skills - 35%: Oracle EPM Cloud solutions and design knowledge and experience. Experience with FCCS (Financial Consolidation and Close Service) is preferred, but not mandatory. Applications expertise to assist in the analysis, solution and design of migrating existing HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) consolidation application. Provide client support on production support, consult with vendors, consultants, and peers to manage and address application issues. Experience implementing and providing support for the migration of large financial applications. Knowledge and experience using financial planning, management accounting, and reporting applications such as forecasting, consolidations and public accounts.
• Analytical Skills - 30%: Able to lead, gather and analyze business requirements, identifying impact on policies/processes, prepare cost benefit analyses and make recommendations. Demonstrated experience designing and solutioning financial management, reporting and consolidation applications. Strong analytical skills to analyze multi-dimensional datasets, current business processes against best practices, identify gaps and propose areas for improvement.
• Communication Skills - 20%: Strong collaboration skills to participate on committees and project status meetings. Comfortable developing presentations and facilitating user requirement gathering. Experience delivering presentations/findings to various clients, stakeholders and senior managers at the appropriate detail. Mediation, consensus building and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and partners at all levels.
• Project Management Skills - 15%: Experience with formal systems implementation and current methodologies in managing projects such as Software Development Lifecycle, Waterfall, and Agile. Very organized and able to meet deliverables and targets. Experience applying internal control procedures, business management frameworks, financial operations and controllership model.
