As a valued member of Flexjet's team, you'll be involved in all facets of upholstery, including repairs, modifications, and refurbishments. Ideal candidates possess extensive hands-on experience with leather and high-end upholstery techniques. Precision, safety, and the ability to follow detailed instructions are key aspects of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Refurbish and modify aviation seats and components
- Interpret blueprints to guide upholstery tasks
- Prepare and cut materials for accurate stitching
- Maintain safety protocols while working on tasks
- Collaborate on special or urgent production assignments
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school and/or relevant training
- Proven upholstery background, ideally in aviation contexts
- Skill in industrial sewing and finishing techniques
- Excellent attention to detail in craftsmanship
- Must lift and manage materials weighing up to 40 lbs
