The work includes electrical troubleshooting, equipment repair, engine maintenance, and generator testing. Heavy-duty mechanics with power generation experience may also be considered, supporting a potential path toward a Dual Ticket.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service heavy electrical and power generation equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair generators and attachments
- Maintain and overhaul natural gas and diesel engines
- Load test power generation equipment
- Support customer service commitments
Requirements:
- Journeyperson Electrician certification, with Red Seal preferred
- Power Systems experience and mechanical troubleshooting confidence
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Generator experience considered an asset
- Ability to obtain customer site access and respirator fit testing
