Confluence Administrator / Atlassian Cloud Migration Specialist
Job Description :
Our client in Alberta is looking for aConfluence Administrator / Atlassian Cloud Migration Specialist
Must Have Primary Skills :
- 5+ years of experience administering Atlassian Confluence Data Center (on-premises) environments.
- Hands-on experience administering Atlassian Confluence Cloud environments.
- Proven experience leading or supporting Confluence Data Center to Confluence Cloud migrations, including planning, assessment, execution, validation, and post-migration support.
- Strong knowledge of Atlassian Guard (formerly Atlassian Access), including SSO, user provisioning, identity management, security controls, and compliance features.
- Experience managing Atlassian licensing, subscription models, user audits, license optimization, and vendor coordination.
- Experience working with business stakeholders, technical teams, and platform administrators during migration and transformation initiatives.

Proven Experience In :
- Experience with Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and broader Atlassian ecosystem administration.
- Experience with identity management solutions (Azure AD, Okta, Entra ID, SAML, SCIM).
- Experience developing migration strategies, governance models, and user adoption plans.
- Knowledge of security, compliance, and access management best practices in Atlassian Cloud.
- Experience documenting platform standards, procedures, and operational support processes.
