Head of Venture Growth in Montréal

Your mission in the Station Fintech team is to ensure the quality of the support offered to the companies in the Fintech Station and to manage its acceleration programs.

Your daily challenges include:

• Leading the construction, execution and continuous improvement of the Fintech Station acceleration program(s);
• Ensuring the recruitment and leading the selection of high-potential companies responding to the Fintech Station acceleration offer;
• Structuring the support offered to resident companies at the Fintech Station;
• Acting as a dedicated advisor to a portfolio of resident companies at the Fintech Station;
• Developing and maintaining relationships of trust with venture capital investors;
• Collaborating in the organization and coordination of business meetings, B2B sessions, economic missions, and networking activities between companies and ecosystem partners;
• Collaborating transversally with the entire Fintech team, from planning to carrying out projects and initiatives;
• Participating in the various stages of projects and initiatives, follow-ups, and relationships with clients and partners;
• Contributing to updating data for internal and external publications and reports;
• Coordinating and carrying out follow-ups as well as accountability regarding the mandates and projects entrusted;
• Working in collaboration with members and key players in the Fintech ecosystem;
• Contributing to the strategic monitoring of the Fintech Station’s activities related to innovations and products of the start-ups occupying the Fintech Station;
• Representing the Station Fintech and Finance Montréal at events, conferences, networking activities and meetings with current and potential partners.

What you need to succeed in this role:

• Training in a relevant discipline;
• 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in project management;
• Functional bilingualism (English, French);
• Good knowledge of start-ups;
• Knowledge of the Fintech environment;
• Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) tools, notably Salesforce, an asset;
• Excellent political acumen, diplomacy and high networking and influence skills;
• Proven ability to represent the organization with professionalism and credibility to strategic partners.

Position: full-time, permanent contract. Start at post: as soon as possible. Location: Montreal. Salary: by experience.
