Operate and monitor Corian® Quartz production equipment on Du Pont's evening team in Thetford Mines, using French and safety-focused procedures.
Work Monday through Friday, 3:00 p. m. to 11:00 p. m.
Du Pont is seeking Production Operators for its Thetford Mines plant, manufacturing quartz chipboard products from raw material through final slab.
The position requires understanding process and equipment steps, maintaining continuous operations, and meeting safety, quality, environmental, and operating requirements.
Evening shifts follow a 40-hour schedule across five shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor equipment and facilities safely
- Patrol designated areas and monitor process conditions
- Perform equipment shutdown, cleaning, and maintenance safety
- Maintain operations throughout the continuous process
- Run equipment cleanup during color transitions
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Fluency in French
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment
- Ability to climb stairs and lift 30 pounds
- Factory experience or forklift license considered an asset
