Lead strategic purchasing and supply chain improvement while coordinating materials, consumables, and components for manufacturing operations. Work Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm. This Strategic Supply Chain Lead guides purchasers and ensures timely ordering for manufacturing needs. The work includes purchase orders, supplier communication, purchasing specifications, and ERP accuracy. You will also maintain documentation supporting compliance and traceability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead continuous improvement in purchasing and procurement
- Guide the purchasing team toward efficient processes
- Handle requests for materials, tooling, services, and outsourcing
- Write purchase orders and review purchasing specifications
- Maintain documentation and ERP records for purchased items
Requirements:
- Five or more years purchasing experience, preferably manufacturing
- Strong team leadership experience, preferably supply chain
- High School education or equivalent
- Experience with Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Leadership certification or training
- Apply strategic purchasing, team leadership, supplier communication, and ERP experience across manufacturing supply chain activities.
