Salary Range: $70,000.00 To $80,000.00 Annually
FG Deli Group is looking for a hands‐on Sanitation Supervisor to lead our sanitation team and help maintain the highest standards of food safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee daily sanitation operations, develop front‐line leaders, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with SQF, HACCP, GMP, and Health & Safety requirements in a fast‐paced food manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop sanitation leaders and team members.
- Oversee sanitation activities across multiple shifts.
- Ensure equipment and facilities are cleaned safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage labour planning, scheduling, budgets, and departmental expenses.
- Champion food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, SQF, GMP, WorkSafeBC, and company policies.
- Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, QA, and external service providers to support production needs.
- Create a positive, engaged, and accountable team culture.
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years of leadership experience in sanitation, food manufacturing, or a related industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation programs, chemicals, equipment, and best practices.
- Experience with HACCP, SQF, GMP, and food safety systems.
- Proven ability to lead teams, solve problems, and drive results.
- Strong communication, coaching, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- WHMIS, sanitation chemical training, and Train‐the‐Trainer certification are considered assets.
