I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent positions on Montreal's South Shore.

We cover accounting, finance, and payroll positions.
I am looking for a Financial Controller for my client based on the South Shore.
This is a permanent position in hybrid mode.
YOUR MISSIONS- Oversee accounting activities and coordinate the team to ensure the production of monthly and annual financial statements.- Prepare budgets, analyse financial results and explain variances from forecasts.- Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations and coordinate external audits.- Monitor cash flow, liquidity and working capital requirements.- Analyse operating costs and identify ways to improve profitability.- Develop management tools, performance indicators and internal controls.- Contribute to financial decision-making, investment assessment and risk management.- Optimise accounting and administrative processes, particularly through automation.
YOUR PROFILE- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, finance or a related field.- CPA qualification: an asset or a requirement depending on the role.- Relevant experience in financial management and supervising an accountancy team.- Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting and cost analysis.- Knowledge of internal controls, taxation and cash flow management.- Proficiency in IT tools and accounting systems.- Leadership, attention to detail, an analytical mind and the ability to make recommendations.
