I am currently seeking an Accounts Payable Technician on behalf of my client based on the South Shore.
This is a permanent hybrid role.
YOUR MISSIONS- Analyse outstanding balances and monitor discrepancies.- Identify and correct duplicate transactions.- Reconcile accounts payable with the general ledger.- Analyse accounts payable in the context of high-volume transactions.- Prepare payment control reports and BI dashboards.- Process and monitor payments by cheque, direct debit and bank transfer.- Respond to enquiries from suppliers and internal teams.
YOUR PROFILE- 6 to 9 years’ experience in accounts payable or a similar role.- Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written.- Good understanding of accounts payable processes and accounting.- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with financial data.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.- Experience in analysing transactions, resolving discrepancies and detecting anomalies.
