Mission We are seeking a controller for a manufacturing company located in Laval.
Reporting to the president, your responsibilities will include: - Overseeing the organization's financial and strategic planning - Implementing the management processes and administrative procedures necessary for the teams to function effectively - Participate in the negotiation and management of contracts, including legal and financial aspects - Ensure regulatory compliance of the departments under your responsibility, in accordance with internal policies - Contribute to the evaluation of investment projects alongside senior management - Prepare and approve financial statements (by entity and consolidated, on a monthly and annual basis) -Oversees cost control and adherence to production standards -Establishes accounting methods and procedures and ensures their implementation -Fosters a motivating work environment focused on accountability and performance -Mentors, motivates, and develops team members -Serves as a point of reference on financial and accounting issues related to integrated management systems Your profile What we're looking for: -CPA certification -5 years of experience in similar roles (manufacturing experience is a plus) -Professional knowledge of MS Office and ERP (Epicor is a plus) -Experience supervising a team -Bilingual (English/French) What we offer: -A salary between $110,000 and $120,000 -37.5-hour workweek -3-4 weeks of vacation -Group insurance -Flexible schedule
