Serve students in person at Fanshawe College using advising, records processing, and financial aid knowledge. Work onsite Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
As Registrar Services Specialist, you will support students across admissions, registration, records, fees, and financial aid. You will explain policies, process forms, protect confidential information under FIPPA, and connect students with appropriate resources. The position reports to the Manager, Student Services & Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-point contact service in person, by phone, email, and virtually
- Explain admissions, registration, fees, records, and financial aid processes
- Process enrolment, registration, transcript, and financial aid forms
- Update student financial aid information accurately in the SIS
- Refer complex inquiries and financial distress to appropriate advisors
Requirements:
- Two-year post-secondary diploma in a related discipline
- Five years' working knowledge of college policies and financial aid programs
- Knowledge of OSAP and provincial and federal financial aid programs
- Strong verbal, written, advising, assessment, and conflict resolution skills
- Education or training in service delivery, project management, or quality standards
