The Operations Manager, Canada will play a critical role in scaling end-to-end fulfillment and data-driven operations across Canada's eCommerce, wholesale, and logistics channels.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Operations Manager, Canada provides strategic direction and day-to-day oversight across the full spectrum of Canada operations — including wholesale, eCommerce, drop ship, make-to-order (MTO), third-party distribution (3PD), third-party logistics (3PL), hot market fulfillment, transportation, inventory control, customs and cross-border compliance, and capacity planning. This role owns real-time order visibility, daily fulfillment strategy, and the operational data pipelines that drive activity across all partners, while building the reporting and analytics ecosystem that enables proactive, data-driven decision-making at all levels. The Operations Manager, Canada delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled insights.
HOW WILL YOU DRIVE IMPACT
- Team & Leadership Impact (Build Championship Teams): Partner with internal US-based teams across Supply Chain, Sales, Operations, Logistics, Transportation, and IT to ensure alignment and end-to-end operational continuity across the Canada business unit. Liaise with sourcing, production, customer service, and traffic teams to ensure product flows seamlessly from the US to Canada and intra-Canada, managing order maintenance across finished goods and components to prevent service disruptions. Provide clear direction to all vendors and fulfillment partners on production scheduling priorities, capacity constraints, and operational expectations. Build the analytical infrastructure and internal capability needed to position the Canada Operations team for scalable growth, embedding a continuous-improvement culture through KPI frameworks and visual dashboards. Assume full ownership across all operational areas over time, leading with conviction, intellectual curiosity, and consistent composure under pressure.
- Fan & Customer Impact (Obsessed with Fans): Own end-to-end fulfillment execution and real-time order visibility across all Canada channels — eCommerce, wholesale, MTO, drop ship, 3PL, 3PD, and hot market — ensuring daily pick/pack/ship activity meets service and accuracy targets. Review backorders daily and develop prioritized action plans to fulfill demand with minimal customer and partner impact. Maintain consistent and reliable reporting and communication to field teams and all cross-functional partners, ensuring transparency and alignment across the operation. Partner with Planning, Sales, and Finance to develop demand forecasts and supply chain capacity plans that support sustainable fan-first fulfillment.
- Innovation & Problem Solving (Limitless Entrepreneurial Spirit): Apply advanced analytics to large data sets to surface fulfillment inefficiencies, inventory risks, and capacity constraints — translating findings into clear, actionable recommendations. Design and implement AI-powered tools, automated reporting bots, or workflow automation solutions to reduce manual processes and surface operational insights in real time. Propose and implement solutions to complex inventory and fulfillment challenges, identifying system enhancements and collaborating with IT on inventory reconciliations between platforms. Develop and deliver a full operational reporting ecosystem — including KPI scorecards, inventory health dashboards, and exception-based reporting tools — that drives accountability across all partners and leadership levels.
- Ownership & Execution (Determined & Relentless Mindset): Own cross-border shipment documentation and compliance integrity, serving as the primary accountability point for customs accuracy, duty classification, and regulatory adherence. Execute weekly warehouse replenishment based on sales velocity and inventory needs across the Canadian supply chain (Finished Goods and Raw Materials), and manage inbound purchase orders end-to-end with proactive exception management. Identify and react to fast and slow sellers, developing action plans to optimize inventory positions and minimize liability across all channels. Serve as the primary operational systems owner and technology liaison — driving adoption, resolving failures, managing reconciliations, and reducing dependency on IT.
We are building a future-ready organization. This role is expected to:
- Apply AI and technology to improve efficiency, quality, and outcomes
- Use data and digital tools to inform decisions and enhance performance
- Demonstrate curiosity and adaptability in adopting new technologies and ways of working
- Contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
CAPABILITIES & EXPERIENCE YOU BRING
Required Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience within variations of buying, planning, and supply chain or operations, with 2+ years of preferred experience in distribution.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Power Query, pivot tables, complex modeling, and large data set analysis, alongside above-average proficiency in data warehouse and business intelligence tools such as Power BI or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated experience designing AI-powered tools, automated reporting bots, or workflow automation solutions (e.g. using Claude, ChatGPT/Copilot integrations, or similar platforms) to reduce manual processes and surface operational insights.
- Strong business and financial acumen, with the analytical rigor to translate complex data into prioritized, actionable recommendations across inventory, fulfillment, and capacity planning.
- Direct experience with cross-border logistics, customs compliance, duty classification, and regulatory adherence within a Canada–US or international supply chain environment.
- Broad cross-functional exposure with the ability to navigate complexity rapidly — operating effectively across Supply Chain, Sales, Logistics, Transportation, IT, and Finance stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; a collaborative team player who is solution-driven, results-oriented, and able to maintain focus and composure in a fast-paced environment.
Education: University or college degree, preferably within business or commerce.
